CNP X REMAC Symposium

Date: 19-11-2025

About CNP X REMAC Symposium
This one-day symposium is a collaboration between the REMAC and the CNP network funded by a Catapult grant of the Radboud Young Academy. It has been organized to foster exchange between researchers working in the fields of EMA and computational psychiatry.
In this symposium, Prof. Michael Browning (Oxford University) will link laboratory measures of uncertainty and motivational biases with real-world variability in mood and behaviour. Next, Dr. Olivia Kirtley (KU Leuven) will present her work using EMA to investigate dynamic daily-life processes involved in suicidal thoughts and behaviours.
Following each of the keynote speakers, CNP & REMAC researchers will present their exciting new projects, highlighting ongoing EMA and computational psychiatry work from Nijmegen.
Finally, two workshops will take place: on the basics of computational modelling (Prof. Browning), and on good science practice in EMA research (Dr. Kirtley).
